I want to get as many people out every week as possible, so that is the purpose of this poll. I always love meeting new F&K'ers and hanging out with ones that I've already met. So please make the effort and come out!! :)

if you're talking about this weekend, i'm most likely not gonna be able to make it at all... it's my b-day on saturday, so...
sunday at noon would probably be the only possibility for me... but chances are i'll be too hungover, or maybe even still drunk... so i doubt i'll make it... ahhh i just re-read your post... EVERY WEEK huh... mite as well make it a sunday at noon thing... even though that's my "alone time" for the week, i can reschedule since i have most of the weekdays to myself now... it's not like many of us go to church or anything... i think a sunday lunch would be a good f&K gathering idea... so we gonna do something cliche'y? meet up at the steps, and do something downtown??? please say no... i don't want this to be another typical stereotyped raver meet...
actually a cool place to meet up is on the steps in robson square... right where the skating rink is... that used to be a partykid meeting place too.. hehe... are we gonna have a regular meeting place? or is it gonna be different every week? i think it would be kinda cool if we went to the same place at the same time every week... get a routine going on... especially if it's in a coffee shop or something, cuz after a few weeks they'll start expecting you, and they'll be nice to u and shit... hehe... we can be "regulars" and get special service :) i still think sunday afternoon would be the best time... everyone's gonna be sketchy, or just waking up getting over last nite... i think that's the best time to hang out with ppl, cuz they're either really bitter & agro, or they just have no energy to get on my nerves... heehee.... plus everyone will have a story to tell about the nite before...

Well, the previous 2 meets we met at Granville Station, just outside of it (where the bus stop and the vendor is). Just cause it's an easy place to find everyone, as many will be taking the Skytrain.
I think a cool place to frequent would be DV8 on Sunday nights, but seeing that I was the only one that voted for that night...heh... Hmmmmmmmm, post ideas of places we could frequent too!! :) Erica :AZN:

i say we all go to the airport every sunday afternoon...
THE AIRPORT IS THE PLACE TO BE it's not that hard to get to either... plus if we wanted to, and if it was a nice day, we could venture over to the end of the runways and stretch out on that grassy area and watch planes take off right above us... hey, there's always the java joint! ehehe, i'm sure some of us know how much fun that place is :) loads of fun...

i like lunch on saturday cuz sunday afternoon i might be all hung over or tired from the night before. I haven't ben to one of the weekly f&k meets yet but i'll try to make it out soon! not this week though cuz i'm supposed to go away for the weekend. But whenever it is, i'll try and make it out.

and bob, i don't know if you were joking about the airport idea but that's fucking cool! LET"S GO TO THE AIRPORT!! SERIOUSLY!! and can you actually go on the runways and stuff?!!! that's crazy-in-the-head! and the airport has all those gift shops and stuff...and i know they have stores downtown and stuff but at the airport, you feel like you're leaving vancouver and it just feels good. we can pretend we're all foreign kids and we can talk in accents and act all fucked up to people at the airport. and if we got our hands on one of those luggage carts that you drive around?!! OH SHIIIIIIIIIT! airport...i wanna go to the airport

no... i wasn't fucking kidding about the airport... that place is on my top ten best hangouts list... i spent half of high school there, and i live in surrey ahahaha...
the first time i went down there, other than when i was actually flying somewhere, i went to welcome my ex-gf back from her vacation... but the dumb bitch didn't tell me what time her flight came in... all she told me was like "thursday sometime, afternoon maybe"... no wonder i dumped her, hah... anyways, being the *super* boyfriend that i WAS (hence i am no longer), i was there all day... i got there at 1pm, and stayed until 10pm which is when her flight arrived... for the most part, i stayed in the departures half of the airport, cuz that's where all the shops & food court is, and OF COURSE!!! THE BAR!!!! to make a long story short, i spent 9 hours in the last place u would think to go hang out for a day, and i had the most inspirational time of my life... excluding times when i was high ... sammy, no u can't actually run and play ON the runway... u dolt... didn't u ever see wayne's world? the scene when him & garth are ontop of the car outside of the airport, talking about bugs bunny *ahahahaha that part was solid gold*. go watch the movie if u haven't. erica, i'm not 100% sure about getting to the airport from vancouver... i THINK one of the b-line buses goes straight to the airport, it's the 98 b-line, i know it goes all the way down granville, and to richmond, but i'm not sure if it stops at the airport... what i know FOR SURE, is you can take the 98 b-line, or the arbutus bus, or any bus that goes all the way down granville, and at W 70th ave (outside the mcdonald's) there's a bus stop, and the 100 bus will take you right to the airport... check translink though, cuz i remember hearing that a b-line bus goes straight to the airport... for anyone else, coming from surrey or burnaby or wherever other than vancouver... just go to the bus loop at 22nd st. station, and find bay #8 (the last one), the 100 bus will take u to the airport in about 35 mins... check translink for times though, cuz that bus doesn't run all the time... AIIIIIRRRRRRRRRPOTTTTTTTTTTT... fuck... AAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIRRRRRPORTTTTT!!!!!! ! ehehe... so if we decide to have meets there, all the 19+ f&k members can join me at the bar... :) we can pretend we don't know each other, and do some james bond scene or something... ahahaha... i had THE BEST irish cream there onces... yummm...

we should just meet at the airport, departures area, seeing as not everyone is gonna show at the same time...
make sure u know how to get home too... cuz the buses that go to the airport only go 1 way... the 100 bus at least, it goes from 22nd st, to the airport, then thru richmond, and back to 22nd st. and repeats... i dunno about the other buses... i'll be there around 12 - 1pm... if u guys get lost, u can call me on my cell... 604.720.6331... otherwise, i'll be at the bar (right infront of the fancy sculptures, next to the escalator... i haven't been there in a while... didn't they build a new skyway or something like that?

i THINK, coming from west van/north van/vancouver, you can take a bus to hotel vancouver and then just take a shuttle bus to the airport? but it might be expensive? i dunno. if i can drag aki with me or someone else who lives near me, i'll be there cuz i really don't wanna be lost by myself
