Realizing what you've become.

anyone else's worst fear, to go through a particular situation or one morning wake up, and realize you've become everything you vowed never to become: your parent?

I find myself talking and using the same body language as my father, it's really funny. my writing is just like my mother's as well. I'm not too worried about it, it's not like my parents are the anti-Christ or anything.

(I'm adopted, and find myself Exactly like my birth dad, the way I talk, the way I move, the way I act... its weird, it really is just implanted in you at birth.)

^^^ Interesting...only 'cuz I'm adopted as well, and don't emulate my parents (the ones who raised me, that is). I've always been too independant to latch onto my parents traits. However, my birth mom (haven't met my birth dad) is very independant as well, so I do somewhat emulate her - not that I consider that a bad thing.
