new photo from my photographic documentary on drag queens
the reason it's so weird and crazy is cuz i cross processed all my film...i used color slide film and developed it in c41 chemicals to get negatives instead of positives
more photos to come...i've only gotten a chance to make one working print (ie unfinished) that i've attached to this post and various contact sheets. her name is Julia Jefferies and, although the pic is deceiving, she's actually a very beautiful female impersonator. this was taken at her house while she was getting ready for a show. -s. |

thanks guys :)
jim, unfortunatly i don't have any "official" online portfolio. i don't know how to get webspace and i really can't afford it right now. i have a bunch of my stuff in my fnk gallery though. i was thinking about buying webspace but i'm spending about 200 dollars a week right now on film and paper and chemicals. i don't even want to think about how much money i'm spending. for the shoot i did at miss julia's house, i bought 5 rolls of color slide film at 20 dollars each roll. it's ridiculous. so when i get more cash flow coming my way, the first thing i'm gonna do is get a website or something i'm currently trying to get an apprenticeship with floria sigismondi who's based out of toronto as well -s. |

oh and this 15-20 piece series is going to be called "Being a Boy is Such a Drag" and hopefully, if things go right, the entire series will be shown at the same club they film Queer As Folk for one night in December. I'll let people know further down the line just in case...for some reason...people wanna trek out to toronto to check the show out.

hahaha i guess. my style kind of leads towards the more "surreal" and avant garde.
it's odd because i think Miss Julia Jefferies is expecting very glamorous shots of herself but uhhhhh....i don't really do glamorous too well. it's more beauty through the disturbing.... -s. |

...shitty scans from my contact sheets
they are NOT final prints...at all at all at all...no where near final. i just scanned them to mess around with color combinations so when i go into the dark room, i know relative color balances to use -s. |
