Hip Hop Lessons
I'm going to take up several hip hop lessons. I'm planning to go no matter what, but I thought it'd be nice if some other people I knew where there too.
Tell me if you're interested. Here's the info: It's with the Urban Dance Company at #202-927 Granville St., near Smithe, 2nd floor from the Granville Skytrain station. It starts this coming Wednesday, September 19th and it goes from 6:30-7:30pm. It's running for four weeks, so that will be four hours in total for $40 ($10/hour/class). I just want to try some new things...after this, I might check out some other forms of dance, or take hip hop classes at different places. Erica :AZN:

i might join ya erica [just sucks it's so far away] i've always wanted to take dance lessons of some sort.. but my rents would never let me [dunno why?] i just gotta see how my school will be lately so ya.. i might go down with ya tho!

Keep in mind that it starts this coming Wednesday. I already sent them an e-mail to register cause the guy said that their classes are full sometimes. I talked to him yesterday and he said that there's still space, so I tell me ASAP if you want to come and I'll send him another e-mail for ya. Hope you decide to cause it's going to be fun!! but sucks its so far away.. i prolly would join u too if it was closer... but if I also really deseprately wanted to go there's a studio that a teed bit closer.. mehehe i'm so lazy.. and i no ur gonna have fun and nice seein u @ Bard on the beach today!! ;)

yeah..hip hop lessons is fun...is that place ur goin to also called the harbour center?..the hip hop is really good there...yeah~...i wanna take them again but i dunno...lazyness does get in the way~>.=P~..but yeah..have fun!!

TAKE CLASS FROM ADDY!!!
I'm going to start teaching hip hop and possibly jazz classes at FITNESS WORLD in Coquitlam. I'm sure it's just a drop in thing. I just got offered the job on monday, and have yet to find out anymore details.
I teach in burnaby on sat/mon, but their like little kids... so i'm sure you wouldn't be down for that. It would we SO fun to have some FK people take my class at Fitness World! Even just once!! I'll keep you guys updated:)

Addy, I'll try to drop by sometime...tell me about it when you have more info. I wouldn't be able to go on a regular basis cause Coquitlam is hella far from where I live and there's no Skytrain that goes out there *yet*. Keep me posted tho. ;)

Addy**Well, the class starts next Wednesday, September 19th, from 6:30pm-7:30pm. It's $40 for 4 classes, once a week, one hour per class. I think you have to come to all 4 classes though if you want to join, but if you want, I can call and ask if you can just drop in once to check it out. The instructor's name for this course is Elizabeth. ICQ me if you want more info. :)

i've always wanted to take up hip-hop
but the dance place that offers them by my place are waaaaay too expensive! heh....Granville is a little too far to go for me:014: i really want to learn some moves so i can add them in when i dance at parties...plus i think it would be fun and good exercise at the same time:027:

After a long ICQ sesh with Addy...
I'm going to take lessons at the Harbour Center instead.
It's drop-in, so you can come any day of the week. I'm going to be taking some intro courses, so here's the sched if any of you want to come. Monday: 4-5pm Tuesday: 8-9pm Wednesday: 4-5pm Thursday-4:30-5:30pm Friday: 4:30-5:30pm Saturday: 2:30-3:30pm Sunday: 1-2pm (this one is one level above intro) If you want a more advanced level (there's intro and levels one-three), or just want more info on this center, check out http://www.harbourdance.bc.ca for further info. The prices are listed there as well. Holla at me if you want to go one day and I'll head down with you. If I like it there (which by the sounds of it, I prolly will), I'll be going down there regularly...hopefully some of you will come with me and decide to do the same. Erica :AZN:

Harbour is the shit guys...
If you want to learn any style of dance, it's the best. There are different teachers to choose from, style of dance, levels, times, and it's drop in so you go whenever you want. Erica: Wanna know what's weird? When I got a phone call when we were talking on ICQ, I was talking to my friend, and he wanted to take hip hop lessons, so I told him about Harbour too! Odd... Anyways, yeah... I go there everynow and then, but usually for the level 2 classes... but I'll go for sure to the other one's if you guys are going!

Addy**I'll definitely be heading down soon. I'm getting my tattoo tomorrow, so I'm not sure how long the pain will last and I don't want to irritate it either. But after it heals a bit more, I'll definitely be going on a regular basis...say 3-4 times a week. I'm going to start out with the Intro though, then work my way up. So yeah, hopefully I'll be able to start in a week or two, so it'll be awesome to see you there one of those times!
