I saw naked protesters downtown today!
So minding my own buisiness....I stumble across a fur protest on Granville st. I guess The Bay has decided to sell real fur coats now, that really makes me mad.
but anyways....jon they were naked wern't they. Did anyone else see this? |

dammit...
why does everything interesting have to happen when i'm NOT in Vancouver. Though I would be right there with them (not naked) NO FUR!!! I really can't understand why people will kill an animal for its fur when we have the capabilities to make fur that looks and feels EXACTLY like the real stuff. Poor animals... silly naked people. |

considering that i eat at kfc occasionally and wear shoes made overseas, i really don't feel that i have any right to question or condemn those who wear/sell fur. i might find the whole fascination with it to be a little silly, but overall the whole industry is no worse than anything else i put my money into. if anything should be protested it's the consumption that the bay openly encourages.
