coming back to town ...i thought i saw him listed in the line up awhile back for a party but when i wjhent back to look i couldnt see him anywhere....either imj cracked out and have just skipped by his name or someone edited there post cuz he was canceled from the line up or somehting?!?!?!idunno...iz he coming to town?

he is playing here in vic next week on the 21st i think..but oh nooo where will i be? in van at lucid..damnit....oh well he comes to vic alll the time...so its all good..he'll be back. i hope they bring him back to fusion 2.

capital j has had the same basic routine since he came here for the first time in 1998. every year it gets less and less impressive. he is completely dissed in his home town as a hack, and for good reason. he is a total primadonna and basicly fucked himself in vancouver around '00-01 when he pulled the 'im the top dog!' act in vancouvers most prominent electronic club night at the time. as a result he was/is pretty much blacklisted by every promoter who was operating around then (and has thier shit together about jungle headliners).

comparing capital j to freaky flow is like comparing the guys who did 'The Macerena' to Pearl Jam. One relies on fad shit that everyone eventually grows tired of. The second isn't my cup of tea, but at least they aren't still harping the same crap they did years and years ago.

fuck capital j. he sucks. though feel free to buy a tshirt in his cafepress store!
