On a hunt for stability.
my search for a new job, as well as many other things maaaaay be closer to an end. Finally! and hopefully *ack*...
Since i got kicked out of my house, i have been looking for a new full-time job. I decided i no longer wanna work at mcdicks due to the fact that i can't really work the hours they require because i'll be living on my own and need to be able to take the bus home(not to mention the fact that i HATE it and the management). so, today i got 2 job interviews! yay! i have one tommorrow at the Laramy on hastings. I really hope i get the job and that it's full time, cuz i'd really like to be established in a job so i can get a place in october. question: i know you should dress nice for job interviews, but it's Laramy. Should i still dress nice even though i'd be all casual if i worked there?? heh..again i don't know why i'm posting this. it really is rather insignificant...

wear phat pants. i'll lend u the pair i wore to my interview that just scored me a job...
they're laramy pants too, hahaha... i'd say dress semi-formal... nothing over the top, but not jeans & a t-shirt... it's mostly in the way u present yourself anyways, if you've got a "winning personality", clothes won't matter... in other words, go naked. how can they turn a naked chick down? good luck with the interview. let us know how it went...

hmmm, even though this isn't even close to what i'd be wearin' at the job, i was thinking of wearing grey pants(you know the type..those girly things) and a dark red sweater( 3/4 sleeves,turtleneck).
ya? is that ok ya think?? *shudder* soooo not me....

that sounds ok... even though u don't look like the kinda person that would wear red... heh...
if it's "soooo not you", then don't wear it... if the clothes make u feel unsure, paranoid, or just plain uncomfortable... don't wear them. i know i have a lot of clothes that mite be nice clothes and all, but they're not me. i know not to wear those clothes to something that's probably gonna be nerve racking... i usually dress up as a gay boi when i come across those situations, cuz i'm quite a confident person when i'm decked out in my gay boi threads, i got a special walk, talk, and attitude to go along with it... i'm convinced that's how i just got a job... i still think u should go naked. it's laramy! come on! tell them it's the new "raver" trend. they'll buy it... again, good luck! hehe

That totally sounds like it'd be fine Liza...that's not totally dressed down, but it's still nice and semi-formalish, which is the "look" you should be going for. I think it'd be inappropriate to totally dress up if you're going for a job interview at Laramy's.
