does anyone else dislike Christmas?
I know of like one other person that does..
I dunno.. for me its always such a horrible day and slightly depressing.. just not a good day.. I dont even care about gifts.. like big deal.. I sorta rather people dontget me things. . heh. tho.. I'd still get em' soemthing.. christmas.. is just so boring also... anyone else in tha same boat?

sometimes i have bad christmases but wutever..i don't dislike it..it's just that it's not special anymore..feels like just another day..

Christmas is like just another day. I don't hate it, but I don't love it either.
I think my favourite part of christmas would be the food. Oh ya, so much good food. My mom does lots of good baking, and then christmas dinner. I usually end up alone anyways, since i'm like the odd one out really.. I get turkey once a year (my dad/his siblings are alleric to it) so that's my fav. I usually end up alone and depressed by the end of the night.. but when doesn't that happen? haha.. it's just another day, that just happens to make people nicer.

the only thing i dont like about christmas is the way my family gets about making things perfect. It has to be right and everything has to be the best! like seriously does it matter if we dont put out like 2 of our 1000 decorations or don't use the pretty little christmas towels?! :soak:

Christmas is just to much of a thing with my family...We have to have a huge family dinner on Christmas Eve and open presents and crap and it is just like I am tired of doing the same thing every year...I hate always having to be with my family on holidays it just really starts to blow after awhile...

The giving presents part is fun, but I'm really not down with the whole santa clauz thing... I mean FUCK.. talk about teaching conflicting things to your kids. First they grow up thinking fat old men who break into your house bring joy and lots of neat stuff. Then when you grow up they make you think every stranger is out to get you.
anyways... yeah I agree.. xmas = just another day.

Well, I've kind of grown to look forward to Christmas day but in a weird kind of way. I don't celebrate it myself due to the whole being Jewish thing...and growing up I went to a private Jewish school so I'd just chill with my friends from there. In university it became kind of a sadder lonlier day, since most peeps would go home (out of town) so it was a kind of a slow dreary time (I didn't go home for all of the break due to some family issues).
But now I kind of look forward to the day. I enjoy giving gifts to friends, even if they're small just so they know that they were thought of. And the day itself, to me, feels like the one day of the year that is MINE - no expectation to call or be called or anything, cuz everyone I know is celebrating with families and stuff. Its like the most peaceful day of the year, a nice break from all the craziness that seems to precede it.

i love it.
i dont know what it is. im a christmas fanatic. i love all the get togethers, everyone dressing up, the presents, (not getting them...but giving them), the decorations, the snow, the music. everything. i think its fun, and yes i've had bad christmas's but i dont let it get me down about the holiday. i try to make everyone's christmas's fun. i think i even had jnetter liking it...even just a little bit last year!

i dont like x-maz, its crap. Highly stressful and depressing day, i dont give a shit about gifts,i dont give a shit about the baby jesus,i dont give a shit about any of it. its all crap.wow look at the pretty lights and ugly decorations on that poor tree that got hacked down WOW. :soak: wow look at the huge amounts of money you spend on crap to give to people WOW. fuck kudos.

Christams - like most things is what you make of it
for me it is a time to be with my family - for me to shower those i love with presents...yes it has been dictated to me that christmas is a time for spending...but it is up to the consumer (REALLY it is) how much to actually spend - and I enjoy buying gifts or making gifts or whatever We are such a 'go. go . go.' society - it's nice to have a time with mandatory time off for most jobs and take a moment to enjoy those you love 'It's just another day' is true - it is just another day.....every day is only just a day and it is as special as you make it I am already excited about it! JINGLES as in jingle bells :) ps - I hate eggnog...that is as close as i get to disliking the holiday season.

I think my room mates and I are just gonn have our own? blah... one thing that I dont mind bout xmas though.. is getting ppl stuff... I'm horrible when it comes to spending the bling on ppl.. fuck! krista... the buy for ppl.. bout all yeh did :) so you did some improvement.. and now ERins.. harsh trying to get me to dig this day.. umm.. no! I'm gonn awork ;)
