Fitness World-->Free airline tickets?

Has any1 registered to get *free* airline tickets to Hawaii, Mexico, Las Vegas, or Bahamas?
If so what's that all about?
The girl that worked there just told me I gotta bring in a friend/family member and sign them up for membership and then they'll give us airline tickets to wherever. Sounds pretty...impossible.

You have to give them the names and numbers of 9 of your friends i think -- and then if one of them signs up you get it. My friend got it and i don't think there have been any catches yet... but it is just airfare?

You're selling out your friends though cuz now fitness world will probably solicite them..

i workout at fitness world and i really like it, the fitness world in north van where i go "apparently" is #1 in north america. its a really big gym. i don't know too much about the offer, i see signs about it but i don't really apy attention.
if those crazy ladies with the clipboards approach me, i always sorta run away or just say no i don't have friends that want to work out here. it's pretty easy to just say you're not interested.

the womens section is huge, there is an upstairs for treadmills, 2 huge co-ed sections and a lot of room for mat space, a pool, a huge fitness room for all the classes, a spa and stand up tanning.
the only problem is that they don't offer the power pacing class i like so once a week i go to the georgia st. just for that class.

and where is the NV location? i've never seen it.

I am a trainer at FW, yea you do get 2 free round trip tix if you bring someone to join up. But the catch is you have to stay at there hotels, and they are crazy expensive.

Fitness world has crazy aggressive tactics when it comes to signing up new people, but that's what you've got to do in a market with as much competition as the fitness industry.

I like having a free gym at work. :P

the pool is S shaped
the busiest time for them is early morning and between 5-7
i usually go after 10 or during the day
power pacing is an hour class all done on a bike. you change the tensions and use weights. half of it is on the seat half off so it's a real work out for your ass, thighs and arms

Oooh i c, so how much money would I actually be saving (if any) if I went with FW's promotion thingy instead of just going into an agency and booking everything with them? Just wondering cuz me and my friend were really planning for a trip to Hawaii.
