i noticed when i got my lip pierced it hurt a lot.. maybe cuz she was taking her bloody time putting the needle thru and after she was done it swelled alot..but i guess like everyone else is sayin it depends on the person..

its a piercing either right under tha lip so a hoop can be worn or lower so a barbell can be worn~guy, when i first got my tongue when i was ...*thinks*..i dunno, 14, my dad told me ity was gunna be my downfall and after that id get more piercings and tattoos and start doing drugs. i brushed him off as being crazy caus ei was a straight a kid at the time.couple months later, drugs were being smoked and eaten and liquor was b eing consumed and my body was a template for holes and tattoos~the bastard was right and im hella glad i did it~

Not that painful. had mine since march hardest thing was eatin after but you get used to it and ya the makeout sessions can get a lil painful but u get over it.

Yeah, ive had mine for more close to two years, and I never really had problems with it. Care is the biggest part of a labriet though. Clean external parts with a natural clenser. like Witch Hazel. Washing your moth out is also very importand. You can get good herbal solutions, but baking soda and water work good enough. Labriet infections can be increadibly painful.

me to, id say my cartalage...is that how you spell it hurt the most out of any thing...labret...the least painful barely hurt at all didnt phase me... its easy as pie :)

i just got my lip pierced today actually, and it didn't hurt at all. i was expecting more pain from it, but there was barely any. it's a little swollen now, not too bad, but nothing that's unbearable..

i have two holes in my cartiledge [one hoop] and those were alot more painful than this was. but even they didn't hurt badly. i'd get it done again any day..

I guess we all have our threshold of pain, but when I got mine done it didnt hurt at all..the few dayz thou were hell..especally when drunken ravers hit it. It didnt hurt as much as my toungue percing thou...or my eyebrow. I think it was pretty eazy pericing, just hurts like a bitch for a while..and no kissie kissie..I broke that rule thou
