Bears!

Just after I got into my car as I was leaving my friends house tonight I noticed somthing in her neighbours driveway. I drove a little closer and noticed that there were 2 black bears just standing in the driveway! Wow I guess they were right behind me when I was getting in the car, I wasnt scared at all because I was in my car, but I was suprised to see them at this time of the year, they should be hibernating! I guess thier homes are being distroyed so they can't. But anywayse I was only like 10 ft away from them!!!

yea bears usually won't try to hurt you or attack you unless you provoke them or if they are sick. i've had many many close encounters with bears - both black & grizzly

Yeah they were black bears and they looked kinda young. Just looking for food I think, my friend backs on to a forest so she gets the ocasional bear from time to time.

i almost hit a bear on my bike when i was 13....i was in jasper with my family and i was flyin down this path in a campsite...i was goin about 40k and this fuckin bear came runnin out in front of me...i slammed on my brakes and i was like 2 feet from the fucker...he jus kept running...

imagine if i hit him...i woulda beee hurt bad...and he woulda been pissed...resulting in me being hurt even more..lol

westwood plateau, and there is always construction going on so I think maybe they lost their home
