tecknokid jump-up was an older style of jungle before jungle converged into the different aspects of drum'n'bass we hear today.. jump-up jungle back then(i think around 93 or 2, till 96 or 7), was a tad slower(not much) then the generally fast paced stuff today...basically the traditional jungle sounding hihats/drums with a really low frequency bass line that has more of a speed garage style WAH or wobble to it..but much lower frequency then the fluffy sound speed garage bass has ..., thats the best i can describe it ... check out Dj hype and Dj zinc - play the game .... not the best but it gives u the idea... random fact: that oldskool jump-up sound has developed into a nu skool jump-up sound that England goes crazy for... such artists like Hazard(who has a new EP out) and stuff from back2basics label,

Anything u find on True playaz records, is either an oldskool jump up or nuskool jump up... once i get a new computer with a bigger harddrive i may open an ftp... i got 43 gigs of music... very large amount of d'n'b released from 2000-till last week.. old skool stuff...house, breaks, trip-hop, abstract stuff... rock, metal and hip hop, mutant dancehall, nuskool ragga, etc etc
