Question about cell Phones!

All righty. I am currently with Rogers, but my contracts up soon and I also need a new cell. I would like to switch to Telus, because I like their plans, and phones better. Is it possible to keep my current number? I realy dont want to change it. If telus won't let me, Can I go to any another cell provider and still keep it?

only possible way is to keep payin rogers for forwarding service to a third party number of telus'

I hate telus, they are old school with their digital networks. Rogers AT&T and FIDO at least use GSM, telus uses CRAP technology.
Exactly! Telus is outdated, but their stocks are going up, so give it a second thought, they might be improving. Their customer service is GARBAGE for internet though.

Fido- not a very good all-round connectivity result from them. I am with them now, and I cant recieve in my own house in Richmond.

Rogers - WATCH OOUT for contract terms, and look closely at your monthly bills....

if you wanna switch to a better plan and a better phone...i think you should just change your number. it would be a hassle but i think it would be worth it for a better plan (saving money..more free mins etc). itll kinda b like when you first got your cell phone and nobody had the number yet.

Ida know MC*Phee,

Try calling the telephone company's sales desks and tech desks and asking around. They would peobably have a good idea about these kind of conearns.
