mugsy is on a distinguished road
i cut up t-shirts to make them into tanks

just recently i cut up my favorite jeans to make a skirt... unfortunately im not so good with a sewing machine, i prefer power tools so i safety pinned it together but put the pins on the inside so they are not visable. and it works great. i made it so that it is a very linear skirt, lots of sharp edges. i can dig it.

you guys MUST see jess's idea for the bball jersey she has. she's too wuss ass to do it, but i think it would look cool. i wont spill the designer's ideas, but convince her to do it!!

i alter/cut up a lot of things... just to make things fit better and look neater. ill take some pics soon.. need some ideas for new projects though.

I drive my mom crazy when I go shopping with her.
She;ll grab something from the rack and ask me if I like it. My answer is almost always, "if I can rip[ it up I would".

I'm also a procrastinator, I have a shitload of projects I planned on doing but they'll happen one day.

I rip, sew, re-rip, lace, piece together alot of things. My fave summer project is making halters our of bandanas, soo hawt. I think I almost enjoy reconstructing something really cool more than starting from scratch. I guess it all depends if the "from scratch" coolness beats the easier, reconstructed coolness.

I've always wanted to make my own clothes, but the most I've been able to do is sew hearts and stars on jeans. Or do that whole hippie leg material thing.

post away, I love seeing other peoples creations.

I'd post mine if I had a cam... Maybe I'll just start taking pics with a normal cam and scan them. i should be collecting pictures for my portfolio anyways.

.....same jeans

then i cut off the bottoms, grabbed some elastic and turned the flares into mutha f ankle bitters!!!!

i think i might redo the ankles a little tighter, but i'm still pretty happy with the pants....they sell Acne jeans with the elastic round the ankle at Bruce for like $275 but i couldn't bring myself to buy em so i thought i'd give it a try
