So am I a nice son?
I just got off the phone with my Dad (who lives in Kelowna) and let him know that I won't be able to make it up there because of work...

--- Littles does he know though I am flying in on the morning of the 24th and showing up at his work! -- I'm staying till the 29th as well so that should be a decent visit.

He is even shipping my Christmas present down here for Christmas but little does he know I will be bringing it back up with me! Hahahahahahah...

That's great! Your dad is going to be soooooo very excited and happy, what better christmas present!?

People surprises are the BEST! My friend is doing the same thing. She wasn't going to be able to visit her family for the holidays, and her Dad was so upset cause she's never missed a christmas with them yet. She managed to switch around her schedule at work so she's going there to surprise them!

I did the same thing to my mom when I came back from being away in Cost Rica for almost 6 months. Just showed up on her door step and I can't explain the feeling and the look on her face. :kimmie:

I love surprises!! Moreso surprising others. :)

Awww tanks for all the replies everyone.

I am looking forward to going up although it will be a bit different spending Christmas with my Dad this year since he has re-married... It's all good though. Now all I need to do is start and then finish my Christmas shopping!
