my xmas baking has begun!

yum!

last night I started, and I baked well into the night
I finished my batches of chocolate chip macadamia nut cookies at 2:30 am, it was well worth it though!

Monday's baking includes nanaimo bars, shortbread, gingerbread men, and some other goodies I haven't decided on yet. Maybe brownies?

Anyone else bake?
I'm weird though, I don't usually eat my own baking...I'll usually only sample it when it's done cooking to make sure it's 100%, but other than that I only occassionally nibble.

on thursday i baked a lot ...

buttertarts, cream cheese brownies, double chocolate cookies, blackforest oatmeal cookies & rice krispy's.

tomorrow i am doing my shortbread & cranberry bars :)

my mom started her baking a while ago. mmm.. chocolate shortbread, gingerbread, rumballs, poshinger, and torte.

christmas = fat time.

my next attempts at deliciousness will be butter pecan balls (aka snowballs), ladyfingers, gingerbread men and maybe just maybe chocolate sparkle cookies (also known as THE GREATEST COOKIES IN THE WORLD!)

I bake lots at christmas...and I eat tons of it. I love homemade goodies.

I just made a whole bunch of mincemeat tarts (for my dad. I think he's the only human in the world who actually LOVES that stuff) and some sugar cookies...my brother and I always decorate them with tons of icing and sprinkles. And tomorrow I am making fudge with my great-grandmother's recipe. YUM!

^^ ewww my dad likes mincemeat tarts too! my mom makes them for him sometimes.

i don't do alot of the baking, i could but my mom doesn't exactly let me. woo.. so i just get to eat it instead.
