Well I have a very elaborate sort of plan for the proposal. I'm proposing on her birthday which is Feb. 4th.
I'm taking her to the Cannery Seafood House which is a fancy ass restaurant that has a killer view of the downtown lights and is right on the water. I've spoken with management and organized my little proposal routine. On the day of her b-day I'm going to go down to the restaurant with the ring and a dozen roses. When we get there for dinner we'll be seated right by the water and proceed to just order dinner and such. As we finish up dinner the waiter is going to bring out 11 of the roses and present them to Karen. Using a line something like 'We found out it was your birthday and these roses are compliments of the house". I'll point out that its kind of odd that they gave her 11 roses instead of a dozen. About 5 min later the waiter will come back with the 12th rose and some sort of line like 'Our deepest apologies miss, this rose must have fallen out of the bunch'. The ring of course will be tied around the stem of the 12th rose. So right there in the restaurant I'll go down on bended knee and pop the question. :) |

Now i'm worried she'll see this. Is there any possible way she could stumbble upon it somehow? I'm so paranoid that I wouldn't even take the risk of keeping this post up, it wouldn't be good news if she somehow found this.
Myles: I was confused a little by this announcement as well (only because I'm a little out of the loop and don't know their whole history, nor do I find it my place to snoop, either), but I have enough confidence that Shawn has a brain in his head and knows how to use it. He's not a little boy, and it's clear he loves this girl very very much so it's really not anyones place to make or state their judgements. Especially so rudely Anyways you admitted that was toolish so I'll leave it at that :D |

Chances of Karen finding this post..... probably about 0.00000001%. Karen hates computers and only pops on once every two weeks to check her email so I'm far from worried. On top of that she doesn't really know anyone off of the board so that isn't a factor either. :)
