polar bear swim

well kids, as you may or may not know, january 1st is the day for our annual polar bear swim.

this is an event where people take a swim at english bay and see who can stay in the longest. if ya sign up and get there on time ya can actually win stuff i believe. and lots of people dress up in costumes n whut not.

i've done it a few times but i've never been there for the actual p.b. swim cause it's on at 10am or so and i'm usually still drinkin. but theres people goin in and out of the water all day long.

have any of ya ever done it? and does anyone wanna go this year?

if you don't like english bay, i think they do it in deep cove.

Who the hell would let their kids swim at Ambleside, the sewage plant is like just down the beach!!!

i did it when i was like young hmm mabey fuck i dont even remember, at white rock got into hmm probably not even my waist...first and last time blah haha that would be hilarious to have a sketchy polar bear swim after the new years rave haha i can see it now

I'd be down, but I'm probably going to be too far away to actually swim in English Bay. I've down the Polar Bear Swim before.. I'd like to do it again.. but this year... it's Party Time!
