The snow in the city is so much different than the snow up there and in the Okanagan. The snow there is dryer... good ole champagne powder, so its a lot easier to drive on. The snow in the city usually ends up being wet and slushy therefore extremely slippery.

I know how to drive in the snow but I still hate driving in the snow here.

I actually quite enjoy the snow flakes, its the freezing rain & wind that makes this weather something else...This snow just reminds me of how broke I am this season, stuck down here..instead of up in the mountains riding :(

At around 2oclock when I got home from downtown I grabbed a ruler from inside the house and jammed it into the snow on my front deck. I think we got 14 cm of snow. Crazy, and then its all supposed to go really icy tomorrow. hmmm

yeah well the drive to chilliwack from abbotsford was not fun this morning going to work.....harsh sketchy situ....hella gettin pushed and pulled into the side snowbanks...and thats not the best place for a protege....

It's 6am and I'm now supposed to drive down to Seattle for work.... I went there on Sunday and the highway between Bellingham and Mount Vernon was brutal. I saw 15 different accidents... yes I counted.

I'm thinking today would be a grand day to call in dead.....

Yeah, now its just a yucky mess...in some places I felt like I was walking in soup...

At least it made my morning decison of what to wear to work easy...just chose my least fav pants that still fit our dress code (which isn't too strict, basically no jeans/shorts/ripped stuff Mon-Thurs...or, as the memo that went out long ago said "Basically, for girls, if you come in looking like Brittney Spears you aren't dressed appropriately. For guys, the same applies - if you come in looking like Brittney Spears you aren't dressed appropriately."
