Last Friday on the OPRAH WINFREY show...
Did you guys watch? it was a show on ECSTASY *OOoooHHhh AhHhhh*
it was OKAY, n all right, but you know how they play that corny background music to add to the scary effect? i think they shoulda dropped that... anyways.. here are the WARNING SIGNS THAT YOUR CHILD TAKES ECSTASY... "Buys child-like costumes: angel wings, glowing jewelry, child's backpacks Possesses paraphernalia: glow sticks, pacifiers, lollipops and mentholated vapor rub" i kinda chuckled at that one, i think they got candy ravers and e-users a lil mixed up.... yes. beware of ecstasy, or else you'll become attracted to angel wings... anyways.. did any one else see that show? what did you think?

the whole time always sayin ECSTACY is bad. the brain picture of that chick was fuckin sick tho. all eatin up and shit. eww. then theres that chick who says good shit about raves and e, she was cool but got beat on by all the doctors and mothers in the audience. all of em shakin their heads when she was talkin. warnings signs your kid does e: trance like state.... damn i cant remember. oh no im doing e! aaaa! the guy who popped 5 caps at a time cuz he was hooked on it. man why would u pop 5 caps, obviously your gonna OD. fuck seriously i just laffed at the whole thing. cops got good ideas o bustin the dealers but those dealers are fuckin stupid. aha OPRAH :sixpak:

YAY i'm not the only one who saw it. .haha but y'know, i give the show a big thumbs up though, for trying to educate parents about it, and the facts were fairly true. i just thought that some of the facts were kinda dumb and stupid... but it was one of the more EDUCATED shows... It's a good think that they're tellin rents about it... well it's not a good thing for me, cuz well it gives away the reasons as to why i did so bad last yr, but i mean, there's just so much sum parnets don't know bout wut their kids are doin bah dunno.

Damn! I missed it. That would have been interesting to watch. I would have liked to see Oprah and her $$$ team do their own thorough investigation on what "raves & drugs" were all about.
From what I read, I guess, like everyone else *famous* that has spoken about it, she was a little bit "off" about her findings. Heeheehee :119:

It was pretty damn retarded if I might say so...
but it did kinda freak me out... cause they showed the images of a healthy brain, and the image of the girl who was addicted to E. The girl's brain had HUGE holes all over the place!!! it was sick... but then again, these are feins here... wheras I only pop like... once a month? Still scared me a bit... knowing that I'm killing my own brain... eww... you should have seen the picture... This was the first show Oprah has done that I actually didn't mind watching... All her shows are all about Spirit and Dr.Phil... it's gettin old...

Are they sure those holes were from E? Sounds more like Olney's Lesions from lots of Ketamine... but then again I'm no doctor...

Thanks for the link.
I really wish they would at least mention the fact that it's possible for people to use E 2-3 times a year, not more, and not get psychologically addicted to it. Granted, not many people do it that infrequently, but my friends and I have been hitting those numbers for the past 3 years without much difficulty. I'd be surprised if had any long term side effects at all when taken that sporatically, but I'm hardly an expert.

but this was discussed among a group of us and i remember someone saying the lil places where the serotonin was missing was the "holes" in the brain....i dunno..i missed it....wished i could have watched ti tho...it would've been funny~ :D:

it was pretty interesting but they tended to leave out how many pills the subjects were doing each time in order to get that first high as they said
one women in the audience who wasn't miked spoke up loud enough for it to be picked up and that hole in her brain chick said it was 5 and some other kid who was in jail was doing 6 the doctor was quick to point out that even 1 changes your seratonin (sp?) levels I would bet a million bucks though that they were doing other drugs besides e.
