Canucks Recall Brandon Reid

CANUCKS RECALL REID FROM MANITOBA
Vancouver, B.C. - Vancouver Canucks President and General Manager Brian Burke
announced today that the Canucks have recalled centre Brandon Reid from Manitoba
of the AHL.
Reid, 22, leads the Moose in scoring with nine goals and 22 assists for 31
points in 41 games. His fine play has earned him a spot on the Canadian AHL
All-Star team for the 2004 AHL All-Star Classic to be held February 8th & 9th,
2004 at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, MI.
Reid played in seven games with the Canucks last season, recording two goals and
three assists for five points and a +4 rating. He also played in nine playoff
games, recording one assist. This is his first recall of the 2003-04 season with
the Canucks.
Reid was Vancouver's 5th choice, 208th overall, in the 2000 NHL entry draft.
