Weird co-workers
So i work with a bunch of weirdos... so what right? We all do.
A regular unleaded lunch was in order until a team member pulled a chair to join us. Hellos and welcomes were exchanged and short lived as the new table member started talking about her cat that recenlty passed away. To cut a long and disturbing story short... The cat was put down and she froze the cat in the freezer. Her friend froze her dog, and its still in the freezer. She states its only temporally. This has to be illegal.. A dead cat in the freezer sitting beside french fries.... weird I'm creeped right out |

My mom is a Vet, and thats all they do with the animals that are put down. They stay in the freezer until it is full, and then they are sent to be incinerated. I guess it's a bit different if the cat is in the freezer for 14 months in your basement though. I think its time for your aunt to let go.
Peace. |

A bird crashed into my friend's kitchen window and died, it was real purdy so he keeps it in a bag in his freezer and takes it out every now and then to admire it. "Gee, what a nice bird".
I know a lady doctor who has these pedigree dogs. One of them had a genetic defect so it was blind, but she kept it for a pet for a few years. Then she had it "put down" and keeps it frozen in her deep freeze, partly to keep it around for genetic testing later. Yup, it is a little wierd. :tounge1: Last edited by tvmann; Jan 13, 04 at 09:19 AM. |

i've never heard of this before. i find it very disturbing. one of our bunnies died so we burried it in the foresty area at the back of our lot. even though we were sad about it, we weren't going to freeze her and preserve it. thats friggen wierd!!!
