ack! help
ok......
so...here is the sit-u-a-tion.... i can either take 5 classes....and take one in spring and grad for oct..... or i can take 6 classes and grad in april.... i've ever only taken 4 courses at a time....so even taking 5 seems like alot for me....but it just seems like a better idea to get it over with now..so then i dont have to waste my spring when i can be working, so i can move to van in sept..... i'll deff have to cut back on the partay-in..... what do you guys think? |

Take it slow - you'll be able to focus more on the classes then if you took 6. When exams and projects come near you'll have more time to spend on each of them. And by taking it slow you'll probably learn more, or understand and get a better understanding of everything you are learning. You are going to school to learn, so why not take it a bit "slow" and get everything you need?

tru tru...
i will only have 5 finals in the end....and most of my classes are business oriented. (for any of you that have taken business courses know how easy they are..) 3 of my classes are only once a week instead of twice (theyre 3 hours long though...).....so i will only have 9 blocks instead of 12.... i have cut back a shift at work and can cut another one if i need to...my reasoning for this is so i can grad with all my friends in june..and have free time to work and save up lots during the spring/summer for my move.... like miska said...i should try it out and see....if not i guess i can always drop one come october.....im really gonna have to cut back on going out and partyin though..... but ya....i think im just gonna GIV'ER!!! :284: i know...im nuts....wish me luck. :keebler: oh ya!! p.s- did i mention i get fridays off?!~ woo hoo....(to study of course!! :kam: ) oh ya....p.p.s- im not only doing this so i can just hurry up and move to van...i am hoping to go to skool in van in sept. so i need to save up as much as i can for skool/living. TAking a heavy course load isn't for everyone. Only a small percentage of students can handle it. If they do handle it, no personal life and a job is almost out of the question.
If you have money to blow, u could take a heavy load and then drop 1 later. But I think u should take 5 rather than 6. Most I've ever taken was 4 but I had a 30hr/week job to. :-] `t1m Good luck! And next time say hi to me earlier rather than at the end of a party. NYE. :P |

im agreeing with miska..give it a week. check out the curiculam and see if u can handle the courses. there are usually a few classes that have loads of work.. i give myself a rule of 3 "hard" classes and thats the max i would go. i have 6 courses right now and 3 of them will drain me, but hey thats school and challenges are great. if u are taking 6 courses.. definatley cut down in work or else ull drain your body.
i think it all depends how ure schedules are like as well. if ure 6 classes are some what spread out during the week, ull have time to finish hw and rest. dont be dumbass like me and cram 6 courses into 3 days... but oh its fun torturing myself. edit: im only saying all this to get it done with is cuz i know ure plannin to move to van...SOONER THE BETTER!!
