.parties, drugs; attending, consuming.

reading up on so many peoples thoughts about the scene and music and drugs and what not... i had a couple questions in mind and wondered what people's point of view on them were...

1)people are grossed out at 15 year old kids going raving and popping e
questions:
a)how old were u when u first started?
b)so were u gross when u started? or was it ok kuz it was, u, and ur cool
c)what's the difference between a 15 year old doing e and partying... from a 15 year old smoking dope, ciggerettes, getting krazy drunk, smoking meth, etc.?

2)people who want or don't want a bigger rave scene
a)why don't u want the scene to grow?
b)if u want it to grow, why hate the plaza (a place where people get exposed to the scene)?
c)with an attitude like some here, who hates seein new people in the scene but want a bigger scene.... how is that supposed to happen?

3)is it just vancouver that has party kids with such bad attitudes or is it evident everywhere?
and
is this caused by the simple supply and demand... once u've had it, and had enough, u don't want it no more...

4)trance music
a)why do people hate it so much? isn't all electronic music repetitive? house/breaks/dnb/trance/hardhouse
eg. dnb is just faster and the tracks are switched up quicker but it's still repetitive.
...a lotta breaks songs are jacked from trance hits... so i think if it wasn't for trance, there wouldn't be a lotta breaks tracks.

pour out the thoughts!

all very good points Tyrone. First off:

15 is the age of experimenting. In todays age, there are more things to try than alcohol. It's sad, but its true. Back then, the amount of things to try were limited and very difficult to come by.

The rave scene is dying and that is the truth. There are a lot of jaded party kids out there. The jaded ones are the ones who hate "massives". Many got into the rave scene because it was something different. Now it seems many have tried it and the "coolness factor" has dissappeared. Also many of them enjoyed the scene because of E. And after 9 months your head will start to hurt unless you either quit, cut down or get addicted to another drug. Most seem to quit rather than cutting down.

The attitude is in all other rave scenes. I've talked to peple from TO, NYC, LA and even UK and they all seem to have bitter, jaded, ex party kids. One thing that seperates our scene from the others is the amount of Jimmy Ng's and the circles of death.

I just dont really dig trance atleast not at parties. I can't dance to it.
