as far as the new west keg is concerned, there was a huge fire in new west a long time ago, and almost all of columbia was burnt down , and now has been rebuilt, including the building which we are in, we were told when we moved in that there had been cases of ghosts in the basement, i guess when the fire hapened alot of the store owners would live in the basements of there shops, in our case our building used to be a clothing makers shop, and when the fire happened, the whole family died in the basement.
when we first moved in, our alarm would go off 3 to 6 times a nite to the point where the police were gonna start charging us for visiting our store, we consulted with the alarm company and nothing was worng form there end, eventually we had to take away the motion sensors and leave the door ones, because there was alwasy something moving downstairs, and it wasnt rats, the sensors are made to not go off for cats and anything smaller, but when i close at nite the downstairs is so creapy. another weird thing about new west is how it used to be the first capital of bc and theres actually tunnels that still exist, underneath columbia that were used to transport convics, and slaves so the general public wouldnt see them, our basement intersects with those tunnels, and they all lead up to the paramount now, lots of history around here. i remeber hearing about partys at riverview back in the day, some guys i knew would break into the old condemmed building on site and throw like mini raves or whatever u wanna call em, from what i here it was mad creepy, with all the padded walls and restraints all over the place..crazy shit

....I totally believe in spirits cuz i have had alot of creepy stuff happen to me but they have usually been good spirits & not bad.... I use to mess around with the ouija board alot( which i learnt my lesson from now)when i was younger and I had sum seriously scary stuff happen....supposedly theres sum little girl who died in my house...neways one time we were on the ouija board and i was talking to the little girl who was have'said'to have died in my place i asked for proof of this she told me to go downstairs and check in my basement in the crawl space...so i go down to the basement to find stains in the crawl space on the wall that look like blood....then we asked the girl for a sign and all the power in my house goes out ...the door opens by its self and me and my gf I can hear someone running up and down the stairs unmistakable.....when were home alone....neways i tell the ouija board to leave us alone & that were going now...but the ouija board didnt wanna go so i decide to get rid of it & throw it in the garbage....that night im lying in bed & i hear my closest rattling .....i turn on the light to find the ouija board in my closest..like it hAD NEVER been touched... :soak: neways i go and wake up my parents and tell them the story & my dad freaks at me cuz he has told me to not use to ouija board(supposedly it only brings bad spirits)...so I havent touched the board since....but sumtimes at night ill wake up & see someone standing at my door or when im home alone i hear voices and stuff..most of my friends refuse to stay at my place over night cuz there so creeped out ...for all I know though this stuff could just be my imagination  but I do know or sure that there spirits with us all the time

Ahh Cass thats scary shit. One of my relatives had a simliar experience with a ouiji board on a camping trip. Though instead of throwing it in the garbage, they tossed it in the fire, and the bloody thing started SCREAMING. =\
I've refused to touch one after hearing that story. My ex from a few years ago had exactly 13 ghost encounters, mostly from when he was going through treatment for lukemia. And they were all death omens (except for the final one). There's only one that I can really remember... He was away for the weekend in Whistler with a friend. On the way back, he stopped to fill up at a gas station, and asked the friend to grab his leather jacket from the trunk, only it wasn't there. He was absolutely sure that he put it in there. Figured he left it at the hotel by accident, and was going to call them when he got home. But when he got home, he found his jacket on his bed with the arms folded over the chest and a black rose in the middle. He still has the rose. The last encounter was one of his kids from the hospital who had passed away that day, telling him that he was okay. Personally, I have never had any spiritual experiences. But I do believe that the spirit would is constantly in contact with ours.. but not everyone is sensitive to it.

ok umm i shouldnt have reads those.. /me is kinda freaked now
but while i am here i might as well tell what happened to me, i was babysitting once around the corner from where i live and all the kids were sleeping i was in the kitchen getting a snack and i heard someone call my name so i was like what and nothing else happened and so i went to check on the kids and they were all sleeping heck i even checked to see if they where asleep.. that was freaky and also the chick i babysat for told me her ex boyfriend was over one time and he looked into her sons room and he saw a lil boy laying on the bed but it wasnt her son cuz he was out of town visiting his dad..

thats totally true though some ppl are just very sensitive to spirits .Sometimes its comforting when u have a spirit come to u ...like my friend Cory who died(R.I.P.)sometimes comes and visits me at night....which isnt creepy at all.....but its scary when u hear voices and see things that just shouldnt be there.....especially when ur home alone

hehh... a glitcher eh?
yeh.. in my experience they try to communicate/get attention thru random electromagnetic happenings. its generally the least powerful means of communication, cos it it really doesn't mean much. All it does is get your attention and confuse you. That spirit probably isn't too harmful if all they're doing is making the buzzer buzz. Either ignore them, or be friendly and say hi to them next time they ring :) being afraid will only make it worse.

speaking of ouiji boards i did the stupid thing and agreed to play it in my house.
This is back when i was listening to bone thugs. There is one song that goes "Mo Murder mo murder, come again" well while playing the board and listenin to this song, the CD started skipping on ths phrase MO MURDER MO MURDER .etc etc. coinicidence?
