Board games?
Okay, this is post 1900 so I thought I'd make it eventful.

And what's more eventful than playing board games on a friday or saturday night?

So guys, what's your favourite board game and why? I'm including a poll in this one but feel free to post games that I haven't included, or even games I haven't heard of (so that I can play 'em some day ;P)

I personally like Monopoly, though someone always ends up being the greedy tyrant controlling boardwalk/park place and owning everyone ass... and it usually isn't me. Bah! The word games (scrabble, boggle) are good times too, they make you think.. but definitely not games to play when you're terribly drunk.

Sorry! Also comes to mind... Iiiiiiimmm sorrrrrrrry! Booyeah.

I was in a condo in Whistler with a bunch of people gettin drunk and playing that game. That buzzer got a workout!

It's all about Monopoly baby! Side deals, teamups and overall bitterness is what makes this game great.

A real game can last for hours.

i'm all about monopoly but my family hates it. Starts wars between everyone the game is just bad news for family parties. And when I try play with freinds we just give up not even a 3rd of the way in to the game
