People grow up and change but the scene and the music will always be there.
Just don't develop tunnel vision which leads to permanent blindness. I remember THC from my early party days too. Sad to see it go but something will eventually be there to take its place. |

In 2004 I have finally come to the conclusion that after 8 years I have finished my run in the scene.
- I have come to the same conclusion it just didn't take me eight years to realise it. Its all about the club shows from here on in....except for maybe Apex. ;-) |

I wish he would redirect the traffic over here :)
thc was extremely busy a few years back when parties seemed to be happening every other week. We listed many events on there and used it as the information center for changes to upcoming events. Also it was great for booking dj's and acquiring info lines. The dj profiles were helpful in connecting us to Victoria gigs and the fact that it catered to the entire lower mainland + slightly beyond was helpful in bringing us all a little closer. I remember people driving hours on end to check out some of the parties up in the interior and it was all because they saw the event listed on thc. I suppose the closing of thc is a sign of the times based on lx disappearing and similar companies following suit. We intend to be around for awhile and would probably never shut the doors no matter what the situation. It will be missed no matter what people thought of it. ☼ƒORM |

I posted something similar on ravevictoria.com but I have to give mass props to Clint who runs Teamhardcore.com. A big thanks for all his hard work and personal sacrifice that he dished out to pay for the site, most of which came from his own pocket. As Lex mentioned, the site for years was the primary calendar of events, DJ profile listing among other things.
I will also add that if you are looking for further information on Island Parties you can go to: 1.) www.ravevictoria.com or 2.) www.fatkats.net Fnk.ca I am sure will be adapting in the near future as you can bet that a ton of traffic is already being diverted over to this board. Cheers. |

very sad indeed to have such a thriving website devoted to our scene leave. surely a legend in its own to our online community, as well as the late LX. FNK is not here to replace but pickup where left off.. only day I hope to have achieved the status these sites once held in their prime. |
