hehe.. yea my job is treeplanting.. it's seasonal so i only do it 4-5 months a year (spring/summer). Anyways its pretty rough: planting in all weather (storms, snow, ice rain, 40 degree heat, etc.), all types of terrain (steep steep mountain sides, tons of overgrowth, swamp land, basically everything else), large amounts of bugs (practically breathing them in, noseeums, horseflies, mesquitos, every other bug known to man), and dealing with wildlife in VERY remote locations (i.e. many close encounters with bears, wolves, deer, elk, moose, etc.), and on top of that planting 3000+ trees a day while working 6 days a week, 10 hours a day minimum, no breaks. I have literally a million stories i could tell you all about my treeplanting experiences. it's VERY physically hard work, rated #2 physically hardest job in a study right behind alaskan king crab fishing. But i also love my job, get to travel all across canada, fly in helicopters, meet tons of people, have a hell of a good time on nights off, it's the best workout you'll ever get, etc. Anyways check out my photo gallery, got a bunch of planting pics up in there.
