Snow is already on the ground out here!!

Yeah I was just watching the news and it says that the highway is covered in ice due to freezing rain... and now there's snow starting to cover it. That stretch of highway between Chilliwack and Abby is always bad in the winter time.

There is only a fraction of an inch of snow drifting around here (Chilliwack). It looks wimpy. But there was freezing rain last night so the roads are icey and there might be more snow in the next 24 hours so that's probably what is causing the worry and closures.

Last snowfall 3 weeks ago I was on the highway between here and Hope and there was a whiteout of blowing snow in the mountain areas, zero visibility for a few seconds. That happens a lot on the flat area east of Abbotsford, can be very very dangerous, one day 5 years ago I saw about 80 vehicles in the ditch on that stretch of highway!

no school for us as well
but we had no power as well for a bit
and the entire eastside of the city shut down for a bit.

yeah, it looks ok outside now like i could actually drive somewhere, but the Provincial highways Road Reports haven't changed so it's probably still shitty on the highway between chilliwack and abby.

I worked for ONLY 3 HOURS!!! Then they shut 'er down!!!! YAAAY!!! & my dad is fine..teehee, prolly going to stay home if the weather worsens by tomorrow!

and i went to go finish some prints in the darkroom for the critique today and some ugly mother fucker was using MY fucking dark room.
