Happy Thanksgiving to Sero, and the rest of the F&K family.
What are all of you doing for Thanksgiving? I'm having Thanksgiving dinner with my boy tonite, then going to Stardust to watch our friend perform with his band. Then tomorrow is the family dinner. Mmmmmmm, turkey, cranberry sauce and stuffing. Yes, I like to get stuffed...:001: haha... Erica :AZN: |

Happy Thanksgiving...
Hey everyone.
I hope you all have a warm fuzzy happy thanksgiving with your families or loved ones this year. While we're usually on these boards talking about parties and drugs and banging tunez - during all of these crazy busy partying lives that we lead we tend to give our families (especially those who dont have much respect for driving beats at 140+ bpm) a bit of the short end of the stick when it comes to our time. I'd like to remind everyone out there to put away the message boards, shelve the mad beats, raver clothes, drugs, and party atmosphere for one day to please those you love the most - your families. Do your best to spend as much of the day with them as you can, helping to make the dinner, chit-chatting about your hopes, aspirations and dreams. If you live far away from your loved ones try to spend a long time on the phone with them, and if that's too costly, work something out to show that you care. Thanksgiving is not only a time of thanks for all of the wonderful pleasures we take for granted in our North-American lives, but most especially a time for families to get together in this hectic, fast paced world we live in today. With the ongoing events in todays world, I know that your families will appreciate it very much. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! :) |

hmm since an OFFICIAL day of giving thanks.. only comes once an year, and since I rarely stop to think about the many things I should be thankful for, I used some of my procrastination time to think about the things I'm thankful for...
I'm thankful for every second of my life that has lead up to this minute, this hour, this day.... Even through the ups, and minor downs of my short little life, right now, today, I'm sitting here warm in comfy clothes, sipping a nice hot cup of coffee and studying for 2 major tests... it isn't the worst thing in the world ;) optimism is good for a change, huh? happy giving-thanks day. meh heh Last edited by yoko*; Oct 08, 01 at 09:02 PM. |
