I reboot for kernel upgrades and occasional distro upgrade. And power outages. Aside from that though my computer remains on.

I recently moved to FC1 so I've got an uptime of about... a week and a half. Before that it was about 5 months.

^ not really... although I did have a com that wasnt turned on enough and the battery on the motherboard died which reset the bios evertime I turned the com off. So there is something to be said about leaving your com on I guess.

Just the odd restart to clear the memory Windoze doesn't release.

Thats what windows washer is for.

But i shut mne down anyways sometimes. The newer computers are so powerful, that they hvae to have a bigger fan, which makes things noisier at nights.

My mom thinks that if it's on when we're sleeping, people will hack into our computer and steal our souls or something. She's weird.

I have no choice but to turn it on and off every time I use it.. my computer is such a peice of shit and its got windows 98 n its really old that if I left it on it would prolly have a melt down

neets has a little shameless behaviour in the past
i never used to turn it off cuz its in my room 2...but after the one day i decided it was time for a break it won't boot up now..im goin on 3 WEEKS WITHOUT MSN. lol. like detox from the comp.
