according to my ex, drinking milk before going to bed guarentees no hangover...but if i drank milk while drunk, i'd puke my face off.
if you drink water, take a tylenol and some vitaman B, it really helps. i THINK (i could be wrong) vitamen B helps with water retention and keeps you hydrated. and if you wakeup in the morning with a hangover, i find drinking a bottle of powerade and eating bread helps. -s. |

It's hard to do, but if you can tell that you've drank enough to warrant a hangover:
Before you go to bed force down a few slices of bread to absorb the alchohol. Take a few Centrum multi vitamins, some Ginko biloba, and as much water as you can get down. In the morning, strong coffee and a big breakfast (fruit, cereal, bagel/toast) I have the hangover thing down to a science Works for me every time. |

if you remember to drink some water and take a tylenol/advil before passing out.
if you forget to do that just have a drink/beer when you get up. it keeps you from goin through alcohol withdrawl. my favorite hangover drink is beer and tomato juice. works for me every time. |

and sammy's right about the coffee thing.. it's a diuretic and one of the things that makes hangovers so bad is because you are DEHYDRATED! coffee will only make it worse... and I also wanna mention that taking tylenol is actually a pretty idea to take to cure a hangover. it can be really hard on your liver and end up releasing a toxic metabolite. and besides that, aren't there some tylenol bottles that have warnings about mixing it with alcohol? --Joanne :P |
