His words linger within her mind, floating aimlessly among an oxygen-deprived sweetness that unleashes a sense of euphoria; Hands tremble, eyes are glazed, senses are frozen and transformed into a rose-coloured harmony similar to the bliss of those familiar white piles of heaven; Drugged and exhilarated, suddenly stillness embraces the moment and all that is felt are the gentle, confused beats of a fragile heart overflowing with excess emotion; Lost in his mind, lost in his soul, lost in his delicate words that have her fiending for more- pleading for more... yearning for any exposure that will allow her to maintain that flood of dopamine-induced satisfaction; Vision is cleared, sound has returned and once again the empty world opens its mouth and swallows her back into the grips of reality - away from that which she craves the most - his compassion.
