I think i just had the shitiest night last night ever...
im leaving the cellar downtown at about 1130 last night, ran across the street to catch my 16 bus, as i do that, POLICE pull me over, say hey there son, were gonna issue you a ticket for jaywalking, do you have ANYTHING else incriminating on you? so im like fuck it, i gave them 2 sealed 40's that i had in my jacket, then they were like is there ANYTHING else, im like FINE, i pulled out a half empty 2-6 of rum thinkin that they would leave me alone if i gave that to them.RIGHT after that they say ok, now is there ANYTHING else on you becuase your gonna get searched and patted down....so im like FUCK alright...i give them my grizzly bear spray, then im instantly thrown against some window on granville with cuffs on, they ask me if there is anything else i would like to them to know about...so FINE...i have an ounce and a half in my jackey pocket ( FUCKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!), so now they think i deal.which i dont.i just smoke alot.
the cop was even like...oh hey buddy, if you smoke this WHOLE fuckin bag right in front of me, ill let you go without any charges...im like...what you dont think i cant smoke that ?? get me blunt wraps and i will, i already had 7 empty blunt wraps in my pocket from earlier in the evening at blunt bros, 7 BLUNTS!!.

in the end though, they wanted to give me a "chance" yay.thanks.

so total loss for the night, 1 40ouncer, half a 2-6, my OC spray, ounce and a half, and a ticket for public drinking $115 bucks...and i wasnt even though, it was a girl friends of mines hard liqour...WHAT A FUCKING NIGHT!!!!

watch out kids next time, you'll get arrested if you jay walk down and searched...

how can you get a ticked for public drinking just by having t he booze on you? unless you were runnin across the road while drinking it...? doesnt make sense.. i had a shitty night too, not quite that shitty tho

The fact that he had open liquor and drugs on him kind of negates the whole "liquor in transit" angle. What good would a breathalizer have done? prevented drunken walking charges? The fact is, he done fucked up and isn't going to get much sympathy from me.

Having said that, if you were to have said:

Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of the person and the right not to be deprived thereof except in accordance with the principles of fundamental justice.

Everyone has the right to be secure against unreasonable search or seizure
Everyone has the right not to be arbitrarily detained or imprisoned.

^^any one of those lines from the Charter and memorized the names on their badges and reffered to them as Constable BlahBlah I bet you that this whole thing never would have happened.

cops well use any excuse to search u, or pull ur car over... Thats why when u have drugs and alcohol, u follow the common laws, and drive like ur on a road test... this ensures u dont get fucked...also better to be in a moving vehicle then parked... something to think about

AFAIK, it's either supposed to be sealed or in a backpack.

That's really shitty i don't know why you would have that much on you unless you were selling or just picked up but i guess you won't make that mistake again.
