man i cant even remember when i met some people
first time i met Lex, Kev & Cece was @ a POUND wednesday years ago - that was good times. Meeting Erica on ICQ trying to buy some tickets for a summerlove like 3 years ago or something (etc. ;)) First time i met Soma 2 years ago we were both working at masterplan and i kept forgetting his name...finally one day he comes in to pick up his cheque and he's like "hey akeel got my cheque?" and i have no idea what his freaking name is...so i hand him the stack of cheques..."here ya go! look through that!" Bret ends up finding his cheque and then showing it to me "there it is right there BRET HAMES!" Meeting MCHammered at 7 Alexander wearing these sketchy dragon glasses i still bug him about. Oh yeah, and having lawrence always return rentals late so i'd have to call him and be all like "i'm charging you late fees!! where are my lights!!"

christine, coming to your house to spin with jon lol you still have my cheese records and my headphones! another memory was not knowing who erica was, but her sending me her grad pics so i could scan them for her lol, i did give those back to you right? also meeting lex+kev+cece, tried to book them for a school dance that never worked out. ended up going for countless meals with them and eventually became good friends. turned out me lex and cece went to the same highschool and cece only (used to) live like 5 mins away from me

I think is was when I met Sue_bitch and we clung to eachother at a plaza party just wreaked because we couldnt find our friends lol What a crazy night. I remember Jnette laughing at us at some point when we were at the O2 booth. :)

must say, a good thread, with some interesting posts,

i cant think of any in particular but there have been A LOT of times where im at a party and someone comes up to me and is like "are you stringbeans?"
its kinda cool cause i like meeting new people, but at the same time its a little weird since the person knows me and i dont know who the person is

Um...this might be a long list...
Ebbomega, Inkster, Yoko, Jen (lazy something on here, can't remember right now), Prozac: met them all for the first time in April 2001 at that really sketchy party in the middle of nowhere. I remember seeing a few DJs collecting money from the ravers because the promoter (Renegade MC or some other equally lame name) ran off with the money. I had a lot of fun that night. I night have met Josecito that night too. Jingles: Met her at some burlesque night at Tribecca. June 2001. Same night as house of X Galaxie: I met her for the first time at House of X. Miss.Myra: I think we met at cheeky when I was really drunk. Cubed/Jim: Met him at Java joint, but we didn't talk. Met again at Cheeky when I was drunk and about to pass out under a table. I think it was love at second sight. *heart* Daisy: The first time I saw her was a the Java joint. I remember this really hyper girl running up to dave (Ebbomega) and jumping on him. She was wearing a long denim skirt (i think it was one of those Mavi ones) I have a really fucked up memory, I know. Bananasinpjs: I [think] we met for the first time at Magic Mountain. ;) Bren: I met him for the first time at his place. I was friends with a friend of his at the time. Grapes: I think I scared the shit out of him at Cheeky one night--being drunk again. DBO: Same as above, but substitude "annoyed/weirded out" for "scared". Discord: She's never met me, but I followed her around Metrotown once. (Summer 2001) This was during her Pix-e phase. You couldn't miss her, or the raver posse she was surrounded by. Erica: Started chatting with her back when she was AznSweetEE or something like that. Feb/March 2001. But we didn't end up meeting until this past summer I believe. Gnosis: Met him on my 19th birthday--as I was being carried out of the Lotus...barely conscious. May 2001. Goddessa: Met her at Clash 4, last Valentines day. Ishkur: Drove out to Ladner to meet him. Summer 2001. K-pryde: Met him after Dj Swamp in 2002, I think he was smoking a joint with miss. myra. Zarlon: Spotted her at Java Joint. I think she had a stuffed duck with her. Didn't talk to her. I can't remember when we actually met for the first time, though. Narc: Cheeky. Rawb: I think I met him for the first time at some Jungle night at cheeky. Summer 2001. I remember thinking, "Damn, white boy sure can dance." Stabby: She was pointed out to me by Sammy at Kandy Shack2, but I don't think I talked to her until about a year later. Not sure exactly when.. Sammy: Met him at Kandy Shack2 when he went by a different name. Not the best impression. I remember thinking, "Damn, this kid's high as FUCK!"

1. Most memorable and meaningful encounter has to be at HOX when I first really met Ninewells. Getting drunk on redbull and vodka and running around playing fuck tape. Ally L and Jason where part of it too ;)
2. The first DA meet at Chapters. Banana's in Pajamas, String Beans (Alcohol), Jeffrey Zeele, Mikey, Amir, Bobby T, Palook, Epix, Billiumm etc Best Meet ever! 3. Most interesting would have to be at Magic Mountain. I was so looking forward to meeting Slater and Kelly Kapposki at the 3am concession meet. At around 7 am someone ask me how I thought the party was. "It was great, but I never got to meet Slater or Kelly Kapposki" Wow, who would of thought the two where right behind me LOL But these are all technically Lounge X encounters… 1. So best FnK encounter has to be when I first got back after a year and spotted Myles for the first time. Wasn’t hard to tell it was really him. Of coarse the fnk prince didn’t know who I was after deleting all my previous accounts. So for the rest of the night I kept trying to knock him over.
