whats the best peircing shop?

im a virgin as far as holes in my body go, but plan to get a piercing in the next few weeks.....

were do you all recommend i go?

I worked at Next for two years and I can vouch for it personally in terms of cleanliness and quality of service.

Yes, it's expensive..but you get what you pay for. don't go somewhere just because it is 'cheap'.

anatomic designs is also a great place, on granville. Jody Dean, who used to be @ next pierces there, I would definitely reccomend her to anyone...she does a great job and she's really thorough with aftercare, etc.

(if you're a piercing virgin, a good explanation of what to expect and what to do and what not to do is SO very important!!!!)

Places like first on granville or macs leather, paul's piercing, etc. I wouldn't reccomend. I think because I did a lot of sterilization and understood the processes involved to keep a clean and safe environment..seeing some of the things those places do really made me cringe- and it is something that should be important to you.

I think Sinister Skin in Pomo is a good place. Cool guys that work there are Rory (owner) and especially Ryan. He did...5 of my piercings and everything turned out great.

As for Next, I've heard LOT'S of good stuff about that place. I think I'll b goin there to get a tat done soon.

theres a place in the chilliwack mall called image.
its a hair and piercing place.

they did my nose (with a needle cause i would never ever get a gun) and they were excellent...really clean and nice...

and it was only 35 bucks.

so relatively cheap.

theres also pauls piercings in langley and surrey..
i got my bellybutton done at the langley one and there were also really good...but they're expensive

I got my eyebrow done at Next on Granville..and they did a good job...really clean and they tell you exactly what to expect and how to take care of it, but yeah it is expensive...

I just got my labrete done like three weeks ago at Sacred Heart on 10th and Alma...they're also really clean and give you the 'heart to heart' talk like Next! but they're cheaper. I would recommed Sacred Heart..that's probably where i'm gonna get my tongue and my tattoo :c-tard:

I got my lip done @ sacred heart by lorna and it was excellent. she was really thorough and friendly. she also took the time to make sure she got everything straight and good. almost three months and not a single problem.

I would have to say "First On Granville" They did my piercing and they were excellent, They make sure that you know how to take care of it before you get it pierced.

I've been told by many people who are in the industry to NOT go to First on Granville due to their quality of product that they give you and their sanitation isn't up to par.

I was going to get my industrial a few weeks ago and I went to Next but they were out of barbells. So give them a call before you go in just to check.

I prefer Sacred Heart - had a good experience with them.

But honestly Next is alright, so is First ... it just depends on you and what you like.

I plan on going back to Sacre Heart ... I had a good time :)


as for Sinister Skin in port moody - by far the worst piercing experience of my life. ick, never again will i go there.
