Me and Justin discovered (after months, maybe year(s) of knowing eachother) that we went to the same school in grade 2, sang "baby baluga" together in the School production of the little mermaid and that his mom made the bibs we were all wearing.
I'm still trying to track down the one picture of that concert to see if he's in it. It IS a fucking small world and it's creepy. |

everyone i know..knows or ends up knowing someone else i know..creepy as hell sometimes..
it's a world of laughter, a world of tears it's a world of hope, and a world of fears there's so much that we share that it's time we're aware it's a small world after all!! there is just one moon and one golden sun and a smile means friendship to everyone tho the mountains are high and the oceans are wide it's a small world after all... |

To Rupertites, this is commonly, and appropriately, referred to as "The Rupert Syndrome": a universal law that deems that no matter where you go in the world, you will bump into someone who has lived in Prince Rupert at some point in their lives and undoubtedly knows you or your family (this point is quite true in my family's case).
If you happen to come across more than one group of Rupertites in the course of a 24 hour period, you are known to be having a "Rupert Night". |

Some woman on the subway (in GERMANY!!!!) saw my canadian flag on my back pack one day and told me it must be really beautiful there.. then she told me she knew some people who moved there..... to this city..... what was it called again??? Vancouver!!! After some long talk it came out that the people she knew where the friends that we moved out to Vancouver with years ago. That was freakkkkin craaaaaaaaaaaaazzyy!!!!!
I'magine someone on the other side of the world just talkin with u and something like that comin out!!!! Or another weir story. Again back when we moved to Van our flight was 10 hours late cuz some duck flew into the motors and got all shredded up. 2 years later I hear a friend at school tellin this story about how a duck flew into the motor when she flew out to Frankfurt!!!! She was on the same plane that I got on later before we even met!!!! Now THAT is what I call a small world!!! :284: |

A Co-worker of mine had this girlfriend in China when he was young, about 14-15 years old. Then he moved here, still thought about her some times, got married to someone else, had a son, by this time he's 25. He ended up divorcing his wife and about 1 month later he's driving home from work like he did every day and his car breaks down. He walks to the bus stop and guess who's there. His ex-girlfriend from China. She was on her way somewhere and accidentally got off at that stop and was lost. They both just happened to end up at that bus stop coincidentally. Now they are married. :)
