I know a guy that used to spend the whole summer over there every year for like 5 years. Seen lots of pics, looks amazing... beaches and parties. lol and if you want... sex with anything and done anyway you want.
 No questions over there... *shudder* I'm happy with going to Europe. :)

My friend went and said he had girls crying when he left and they all knew about eachother. He said north americans are treated like gods over there.

my boyfriend got back from Thailand about a month ago, and in his words it was absolutely amazing. Massive beaches, and very freindly laid back people. Though, like any other country it'll be a culture shock. Apparently most of it is a bit too touristic though, seeing as the majority of people decide to travel there nowadays.
Personally i'd rather go somewhere like...Egypt, or the Poleneysian (sp?) Islands if i weren't already heading to Europe this summer. it seems like EVERYONE goes to Thailand.

the full moon parties over there are crazy. i've never been, but i heard all the juicy details from sister. just don't be stupid and try to do E or something. they're crazy about that stuff over there.
she was treated really well there as well. everyone was really friendly, and everything was cheap [first class train with a/c from a little island [thong sala i think] to bangkok was only $26 canadian!] oh, and don't rely on credit/debit cards. my sister was stuck on an island for a week when she lost some money, and their internet services were all down so she coudln't access anything from her credit card. i'd love to go there someday..

wait till june and go. it will be the beginning of the slow season and youll sleep for cheaper. debit cards are fine, except a few ofthe islands...full moon parties are nuts, you can get drugs, just stay away from thai's.they will fuck you. talk to the muslim guys. add me too ur msn man, ill tell you anything u'd like to know, i went last august.too tired to type lots now though. mikeyylang@hotmail.com

My Co-worker just came back today from Thailand with his girlfriend. He's been 3 times now and loves it. I will go there some time . . . and when I do I won't forget about taking a little detour to see the beach from "The Beach" . . . so beautiful. He said the nicest place he stayed at was $15 for the night and was amazing!

My roommate spent a few years in Southeast Asia pretty much living in different countries..
he did spend quite a bit of time in Thailand which he really enjoyed, but he said he had the best time in was Laos. I think if you go to SEA, you're kind of cheating yourself if you only go to Thailand- everyone goes to Thailand. There are so many other great places to go within a fairly close proximity that you should definitely check them out too.

I was in Bangkok last Sept....and it was one of the best times of my life! Everyone was very friendly and helpfull.
There are many cheap places to stay....Kow San Road (I think that's how you spell it!), is know as "backpacker's paradise".....cheap hotels, lots of food stalls on the street, and cheap shopping. If you go shopping, be careful with what you pick-up....once you have something in your hands it's hard to give it back if you decide you don't want it! It's also safe to eat at the food stalls on the street....just go to one that has lots of locals.....then you won't get sick! I'm planning on going back sometime this year......however this time I am hitting-up the beach!!! :c-tard:

Thailand is such a beautiful, amazing place. Once your there it is really easy to find cheap nice places to stay. The most expensive thing is getting yourself there. Travelling around is easy and cheap too. There are SO many tourists there, just go up and ask someone to tag along with them for a day or two and you'll be fine.

My sister went to Thailand & said it was one of the most amazing places shes been(shes been ALLLL over too) Everyone is so kind & its absolutely beautiful...My rents are going there this summer because my dad wants to scuba dive over there! It's uber affordable too I want to go there someday soon! :kimmie:
