Does anyone else find it almost bad how easy it is not to go to class in university?

I was just standing outside waiting for my bus, already two minutes late for my class. Two busses pass me by full and I just gave up and went back to my room.

i have to be in class in 15 minutes, but i live just down the hill from school and i'm passing with flying colours.

not only will i arrive ten to fifteen minutes late, but i will leave early.

i found that yes it was easy...but that unless it was for a good reason i didnt wanna miss class very often in university because:

a.i was paying good money to be there

Unless I'm taking classes with my best friend(who makes me go to class) I always end up skipping at least half my classes...very bad habit. I'll come up with the silliest excuses not to go, but it's better now that I have a parking pass.

^^i do the same thing. Just like the thing with the bus, I give up waaaay too easily because inside I really don't wanna go. I only have 19 school days left too. Thank god, I'm totally burning out.

My friend and I were talking about how weird it is that since the age of five, we've never been out of school for more than two months at a time. This summer will be the first time since i was five that I've not been in school for more than two months....craaazy.

i have to confess i havent been to class since thursday. i also took 3 reading breaks. i think im trying to tell myself something.... so off to aussieland come september.

Skipping is a wierd pattern, once you start it's hard to stop but you also feel guilty as a result. Ugh.

especially when u know exactly what u have to do, so u rationalize not going cuz u can just study at home and be back next week for the test.. but really u just get in a cycle of being lazy and not study as much as u had planned... grrr

werd i miss about 1/2-1/3rd of all my classes at school, and i feel like such a shithead for doing it. i would never miss that much work, but of course id have crazy iranian guys yelling at me(my bosses) if i didnt show up, and my asistant would be clueless and end up playing solitare all day. where as i could not show up to any classes at school and still maintain a C+ average.

P.S i just scheduled an oil change for my car during the middle of my italian class on friday...looks like another friday of not going to classes..i dont think ive been to an entire day of classes on a friday in the last two years.

i hardly ever go to class.
but i'm still getting As and Bs in all my classes.

I go to the important ones all the time and hand everything in on time and if i miss a class I make sure I do all the reading before the next class.

There was this class that my roommate had that he didn't go to all year. He never went to a single one of the classes, except for the midterm and the exam and he still got an A. The prof just put all the lecture notes on the internet, so he downloaded them and read them.
