Hmmm... was that a chopper beside me?

About 20 mins ago I was doing a fuelling. I was just writing up the Fuel Reciept when I see a Chopper coming in to land... I was sort of in the way for him to get to his hangar so I assumed that he would hover and wait for me to move the Fuel Truck away. Apparently he's a little impatient as he proceeded to hover between me and another hangar... the thing was about 10 feet off the ground and probably about 12 feet from ME!!! Not scary... but kind of weird in the whole "If he hits his tail pedal a little to the right I'm going to explode in a giant ball of fire that could be seen from North Vancouver" kinda way... Long winded... but hey, how often do you have Helicopter go past your vehicle window so close you could kick it? :214:

I had that happen to me downtown when I was at work - no shit! I was on the 19th floor on Bute and W.Georgia and this helicopter flies right by my window and just sorta hovers about a floor above me! I could SEE the man inside!

Turns out it was for a movie and I believe they got in shit for it cause they didn't have the proper permits but it was cool!

Owl? Yah... it is real nice down there. The only thing that keeps me going when I have to do a morning shift is the Sunrise. It's real purty.... :)

we landed up at sum sketchy party on saturday ( it wasnt a jungle party cass!)

anyway it was fuckin weird , all these hippies dancing slowly to weird tribal music and playing with hoola hoops? willis named them the 'slow groovers'

well this place was decorated with helicopter models, i got one off the top floor and threw it to the hippies below screaming " war on iraq!"
