help!!i dont want my rents to see my "special" pics
well, i took some pics with my gf this week, and want to send them to her.
here in lies the problem. whenever i dl them to my comp via the cable link with my cam, all the photo prgrams on my comp, like picasa, find them and include them in the program. this is bad. how can i exclude them so they arnt found...is there a way? please help. mike |

When you plug your camera into your computer, the comp should recognize it as a seperate drive. Plug it in, but don't copy anything over. Then open 'my computer' and choose it from your list of 'devices with removable storage'
You should be able to get at pictures individually that way - at least I can. |

Here's what you do.
1. Copy the files to the HDD using the camera wizard, or whatever. 2. Delete the pictures off the camera 3. Zip the *.jpg files up, then rename the .zip file to something like, winzip.txt and put it in c:\windows - so whenever you want to see them, just rename winzip.txt to pics.zip or whatever, then open it up. Voila. ;) 4. Then remove the 'Recent' documents from the start menu. :kam: :kam: |
