HELP --> Flea's?
Hey, Im new to this site so im not too sure if this is where I should be posting this but yea, I was hoping that you guys can help me out.
I have just recently noticed that I have fleas in my house, Yes I do have a cat. I have her on a program so I know that the flea's stay away from her. And I just bathed her 2 days ago with this anti'flea soap stuff. So its very doubtful that she would be bringing them into the house. Once I noticed that these fleas were comming about I sprayed my house with this flea control spray ( the whole house inclusing baseboards ), and they were gone for a day or so I thought. Once I noticed them again, I bought a bottle of Raid, sprayed the whole house again, then bought another bottle of raid ( for a different kind of bug) and sprayed the house, thats 3 times now. I went to go lie on my bed earlier and noticed one ( I have a whole comforter on my bed) so I was going crazy, and now sprayed it again. A exterminator is way way too expensive for me at this time, is there anything that maybe you guys can reccomend? Has this problem happened to you? Someone mentioned to me that I should go to Home Depot and get some sort of bug bomb (it sort of fills your whole house with this smoke stuff to kill all bugs) So I was thinking about this but maybe you guys could give me some info. -Miranda |

I can't really tell you what to do, but whatever it is BE CAREFUL. Alot of that shit can seriously harm or kill your animals if sprayed on them or not used properly. We had a flea problem a little while ago, so my mon got some spray. I dont know if my sister is just stupid or didn'tr ead the instructions (which isn't very bright either) but the shit was sprayed on our 3 cats and one dog, when it was only meant for carpets and furniture. Luckily we scrubbed them down immediately, but if they had licked up enough o the stuff it could have killed them. If you are doing any treatments like that, the best thing to do is remove your animal(s) from the house while you do it, and at least for a couple hours after just to be safe.
I'll try to find out the name of the spray, but the cheapest and safest way to handle fleas is to wash all your animals, prefferably with flea or animal shampoo because normal soap can kill the fleas, but make the animals sick too. maybe get a flea comb (drown the buggers in soapy water once you get ahold of them), and find a spray for carpets and furniture. I'll try to find out what the stuff we bought wa called, but it was a popular brand and can be purchased at any pet store or even a big grocery store.
