I just got a dream job

I just got a job as a campaign organizer and my office is 3 blocks away from my apartment! GO ME! I'm on a 2 year contract and will get to do lots of exciting things. I already have 3 business trips in the first 6 months, one to Seattle, Toronto and New Orleans!

I don't know specifically what campaigns I'll be working on yet but the goal of the initiative is to promote social and environmental justice.

No matter what though, I'll be doing work that I love to do.

If I got to go to Europe on business I think I'd die of excitement but I don't as far as I know. The pay is decent but not the main reason to do something like this. There's a lot more cut throat jobs that I'm qualified for that pay better. Personally I value feeling good about what I invest my time in more than a huge paycheque.
