Hmm, I wonder...
If the way that everyone sees you, is COMPLETELY different?
Like I mean, If you knew a certain shade of something as RED, but everyone saw it as a different color in actuality? What if you could be transferred into someone elses body for a few minutes, and see things as they could see them? Would you be shocked to find out that the world as you saw it, wasn't even CLOSE to how someone else saw it? Maybe shapes are different, colours are brighter.. Maybe their senses are even so accentuated that it doesn't even feel real!!! But yeah, Just a few thoughts.. About how weird 'perception' actually is.. And memories.. Whoah, How you recall things isn't usually how they actually happened. I notice that my memory kind of puts things into movie form.. It exxagerates key things so much.. Things are so much more vivid in my memories! [ Unless I was on E, hahahahahaha ] But yeah. DISCUSS. [ I'm sure this has been brought up already, but I haven't been here often enough to know, so PFFT to anyone who says anything about this having already been done, or something. ] |

yeah..as lesbo said..everyone sees things differently...i think that if everyone saw things the same way..then we would all be really boring..
if two peopel saw thigns the same way..they could probably get a long pretty well..cuz not many conflicts..but then again..if two people thought differently but were alike in attitudes..(stubborness)..then there would be many conflicts...???... |

That exact thought has been around in my head for who knows how long now.
particularily the color example you gave. I see a certain color as red, but, in someone else's brain, will that same red color translate into something that I would call red as well? or would it translate into, say, what I translate as green? sometimes I find myself looking at someone else's reasoning, and thinking, 'how the hell can that person possibly think that way?' I find it really hard to understand how some people's brains work sometimes. (particularily when it comes to ignorance, but that's another story) That's just one of the many things that I think shows how differently from each other people perceive and translate the outside world to themselves. To truly see the world out of someone else's eyes would leave you either enlightened, or just fucking crazy. |

ive kinda wondered that before....i have this sweater that TO ME..is beigeish colour....but when i wear it out...people catch it in certain light and theyre always like...haha hey man...ur wearing a pink sweater...im like fuck u its not pink muthafucka...
but i think i see where theyre comin from sometimes... i think alot of us would see the same....unless the person u jumped into was my friend jordie who is colour blind...now that would be weird.... but i think people see the same....its jus how they then deal with the situation after realizing shit...people respond differently..... this reminds me of a thought ive always had since i was a little kid....i don't quite think of it anymore thouhg...... but when i was a kid i used to think that i was the only real person alive out there....that i was alive and had a real thought process but everyone else were...i dunno what....i GUESS u could say robots...but way more life like than robots........ and i would go throughout my days learning and such but everything that i went through was almost a lesson...that i was supposed to absorb everything as information and learn something from it......my friends were almost like teachers who didnt' know it and id learn from them and shti but they weren't real....and another thought that always coincided with that one was that....hmmm...its easier to describe than to tell u what it actually is..... u know how like lets say u stole 10 bux from ur parents or u cheated on ur gf......everything u did that day would somehow involve what u had done......u go and start watching tv...and that day on friends it was the one where ross cheats on rachel...*but they were on a break*....or that day on whos the boss...samantha *alyssa milano*..stole money from her dad....know what im saying? and all this shit was supposed to teach u something...but it was jus wether or not ud listen to it or not........but i guess u can call that a conscience now that we're old enough to understand what that all was...but hey.....it was weird when i was 7,8,9,10 yrs old.... anyway...thats all i got.... corrie |

The way it is.
People cannot change colours like ur example of RED. So therefore it IS red and it cannot be BLUE or GREEN.
People see other people differently from how they present themselves or portray themselves to each and every individual. It also depends on the person judging you, what he/she may think, since we're all different and we all think and feel differently. |
