wee new phone

So I finally got rid of my uber crappy Nokia 6160 (aka. brickphone)

and I got a Nokia 1100!

comparing the two, the 1100 is 2 inches shorter, half as thick, half as light, lasts 3 times longer (400 hours!), looks 9999^99 times better

It's really basic though. no camera, no mp3 player, no color lcd (read: no cool games :( )

but it has all the important stuff, text message, vibrating alert (VIBRATING!), call display, so that's all good.

oh yea and it has a flashlight?! at the tip...kinda odd combo there but I could see that being useful in certain situations.


anyhoo just so happy, now I can throw my brickphone away, and I don't have to run into another room whenever I get a call so people don't laugh at my horribley obsolete phone, plus I can put the 1100 in my pocket and NOT look like I have a boner.

My friend has one of those... uses it at Night when he goes flying for the Pre-Flight Inspection. Pretty cool piece of work.

i need a new fido phone. i wished i knew someone that works for fido and can hook up a cheap phone. cheap phone for cheap shoes anyone? blah.. sooo sick of my 3390
