predictions = Detroit, St.Louis, Vancouver, Dallas

East

(1) Tampa Bay vs (8) NewYork Islanders
(2) Boston vs (7) Montreal
(3) Philadelphia vs (6) New Jersey
(4) Toronto vs (5) Ottawa

predicitons = Tampa Bay, Montreal, New Jersey, and i hate to say this but Toronto

My darkhorses in both conferences are : Ottawa and Nashville...I smell another upset against Detroit!!!! GO PREDS GO!Screw the leafs. Even though they swept the Sens in the season...they will pull through!!!!!! Muahahahaha their old like the wings their gonna LICK. GO SENS GO!

But...definitly my heart lies with my canucks we're gonna take it all!

Who wants to do a FnK thing for one of the nucks vs flames game for the series. After getting tanked we should go down to robson and riot!!!

(1) Detroit vs Nashville - Underrated series but Detroits depth is too much. Detroit in 6.
(2) San Jose vs St.Louis - Ron Wilson much better coach, even with Sturm San Jose in 6.
(3) Vancouver vs Calgary - Inginla is 75% of Calgary's output, the Canucks 3 & 4th line will win this series in 7.
(4) Colorado vs Dallas - Turco in 6.

East

(1) Tampa Bay vs NewYork Islanders - Even though the Isle have won the season series, TB has too much talent and will win in 6.
(2) Boston vs Montreal - MTL in 6 cause Boston is nothing with Thorton.
(3) Philadelphia vs New Jersey - Marty over Esche is a no brainer. NJ in 6.
(4) Toronto vs Ottawa - Zdeno will play 60min. Ottawa in 7.

There is no definative winners this year and there really isn't any upsets because the teams are so evenly match on paper an on the season series.

well i hate making predictions
especially in a year like this...anything can happen

but why not

out of the east...
-tampa is for real this year
-no joe thornton equals no boston, and i love raycroft. but a rookie starting in the playoffs?
-scott stevens back, brodeur still in goal. devils are still the champs. and someone needs to prove otherwise
-ottawa does not match up well against tdot. i hate the leafs but they are moving on

west
-detriot does not go out in the first round 2 years in a row
-as long as osgood doesnt crap himself, st. louis will probably come out
-vancouver will beat kiprosov. opps i mean calgary. haha
-dallas will take out the avs. turco is gonna be tough to beat i think

I typed the wrong #, it was meant to be 6. IMO Kipper will NOT be this years Jiggy like many ppl are saying. Kipper has no playoffs experience and will get lit up. But to predict a series win by Vancouver in 5 IMO is far fetched considering the flames always go all out against Vancouver.

With Thorton in the lineup I think MTL will still win because of MTL's goalie.
