Most fun you've had quiting a job?
WHATS THE MOST FUN YOU,VE HAD WHILE QUITING A JOB?
Well this would have been the most fun but my sup confronted me before i had a chance to pull it off. Basically i used to work at RMh teleservices, in nanaimo: for those that dont know this place is wors than the seventh layer of hell. So i had been toying with the idea of quiting for a while, and one morning Em(birthday cake) convined me that i was too cute to go to work.... a believed her, and stayed home.the next day i had a house party at my house, and also negelted to go into work that day, this went on for three days of not calling in and just not going, FInally i had concieved of the final insult, i was going to return my head set and swipe card with a postit attached that read "I JUST COULDN'T TAKE IT ANY MORE" and put little drops of blood in the corner and leave it on my bosses desk. Unfortunately i was unable to finish the plane cuz on the 4th morning my boss finally phoned me and aked if i still planed on keeping my job. Although i dint get to pull off the grad finale it was still lots of fun |

i was working in a warehouse a few years ago. and this guy Dave, who was a 40+ year old scrub, was being a real prick to me. almost killed me with a forklift cuz he was drunk at work. anyways, we were sitting around having a smoke, and he was calling me a pussy or something for getting upset that he almost killed me. so i got up with my coffee cup and smoked him across the side of the head with it. smashed it to pieces, all i had left in my hand was part of the handle. he didn't really get hurt by it, but everyone in the building was like WHOOOOOOA... i stormed into my bosses office, she was on the phone, so i flipped her off, grabbed my shit and walked out the front door.

For me, it was quiting Canadian Tire,
I was working there for 2 and a half years at the time. I was well respected by everyone in the store cause I knew what I was doing, and worked all departments. The General Manager however (I still question how he was promoterd to this position... Given he has 2 Sexual Harassment charges, 1 Physical Assult, and 1 wrongfull dismissal charge against him. All occuring at this same store). That being said, he was on my ass, pissing me off for a good 6 months. I finally snaped when I was on my lunchbreak... I called him into his office, when he asked why I replied and I quote "I think we both know the answer to that. You have been a jackass to me for the past half a year. Anything that goes wrong in this place, you pin the blame on me... You usually fail cause your a fucking moron. But I'm sick of having to explain your fuck ups to the owner all the time. It's over." He had the nerve to ask me to finish my shift too... Man was he ever dumb Edit: Oh also, about a week before I did this... I had every manager (but the GM) in the store write a letter of reference for me. |

A friend of mine used to be an assistant manager at Dairy Queen - one of her jobs was making the icecream cakes. When she'd finally had enough of the shit she kept getting from upper management, she made a whole batch of cakes with hotdog wieners in them, and then quit. Apparently, one of the wiener-cakes ended up at some eight-year old kid's birthday party (tears ensued) and the family tried to sue Dairy Queen. They tried to prove it was her, but when the cops interviewed her, she said they were laughing, and nobody was ever able to press charges.
Best quitting story I've heard so far. |

my 2 closest friends and i were all working at walmart one day.. and on our break we unanimously decided it was time to quit haha.. so all 3 of us walked up to the manager and said that we were giving our 2 weeks notice! this was at the peak of their business season (christmas time) and the manager got sooooo unbelievably mad at us

i worked at smittys a few yrs back. The kitchen manager was a bitch and made me work the stupidest shifts. 5-10 pm mon-sun. i was getting fed up of being the only person in the kitchen during dinner. so one day when she was in. I told her i had enough of this bullshit and i wanted to quit. we were standing by the door having a smoke. (raining out). she got all red in the face and said " you can't quit im firing you!" and pushed me with her belly like a sumo wrestler out the door. then proceeded to slam it in my face. left me out in the rain.

Well.... never really quit a job in any spectacular fasion, however, on my 19th b-day, I got a $4000 check from ICBC for injuries from being hit by a car a couple years previous (injuries not too serious) so I walked into the McDonalds I was a manager at, got a 2 week paid vacation aproved, starting immediatly, then put in my 2 weeks notice about 5 min later...

I used to work at RMH, until I got laid off yesterday!! :finger:
There's a shortage of work for the mci cs, a whole bunch of people were let go. I had only just finished the 2 month training program and was on the floor for like 2 weeks. Fucking bullshit. |
