I had that shocking revelation about a year ago. And the even more disturbing part is that most of them don't even really do anything about it, at least legally. These are strong women, who were rendered helpless. However It's sickening how hard it is to get a rape conviction and what you have to go through to even attempt getting the guy put in jail. Sometimes I don't blame them for not going to the police about it, but I wish something could be done about it. Actually, if I'm wishing here I'd wish that it never ever happened to them in the first place.
I'm not usually one for violence but I've heard of numerous times where "vigilante" justice was just what needed to be done. One was actually a couple of girls who beat the shit out of a guy for trying to rape a girl at a bush party they didn't even know (good job girls), or there was a time where a group of friends of mine were partying, heard screaming in a nearby park. When they investigated they found a group of east indian men in their fourties attacking, mollesting, and attempting to rape a couple of 13 yr old girls. They beat them half to death then called the cops and ambulance and told them what had happened, the POLICE even told them they did the right thing and thanked them for rescuing the girls the way they did.
