after eyars of watching hockey you should know its on cbc. or so i assume u've been a fan for years but either way cbc

hehe sorry i tuned into cbc at 7 (when the game was supposed to start) and toronto was still playing.. so i was like wtf!

so long as you just have cable.

satellite makes it a little more tricky. you've got different cbc channels, locals from across the country and the nhl channels, so really it's all over the place.

that is true it does get tricky. But cbc is onyl showing canadian teams and at the same time canucks are playing any cbc will be showing the nucks.

Not true.

CBUT (Vancouver) will be showing the Nucks game. But that doesn't mean that CBCs across the nation will be. CBC is a network with aphilliates (sic?), means there is more than one channel they broadcast on. I assume in Quebec, they wouldn't have cut to the Van game. On Satellite, you happily get them all.

not quite. it's like dave said, there's different stations across the country. it isn't just one station broadcasted across the country at different times. so while cbc west may have one game, cbc back east will be playing another. local channels tend to correspond with what their local cbc channel is playing. there's also the sports channels, and the nhl channels [which broadcast all games. unless you've order the whole package, the games you get is dependant on your location]
