Heels at raves?!?!?WHY?

Ok, I'm sure I'm not the only person that noticed this, but what is with these girls comin out to party in their high heel shoes?Is there sumthing wrong with wearing a nice comfy kicks ,that a person can actually dance in , to a party? Just curious as to what the FNKers think...

i go to parties to DANCE. heels suck anyways... i have to dance in heels for my job and it KILLS me.

i wear like shoes with a wedge on them to make me taller...ones that are comfortable i saw a girl at the last rave with stilettos on! i just dont know how you can be comfortable even if your not dancing.

as for the girls that go to raves and don't dance cuz they don;t want to... or go to look hot... or whatever....

JUST GO TO THE BAR!!!! i honeslty don;t understand why a rave would even appeal to girls like that. o well. guess its not my concern.

alright, being one of these BARSTAR-HEEL-RAVER chicks myself these days...i started wearing heels when i was 11 and for almost that many years, heels have become more comfortable to me than flat shoes. probably not a good thing at all for my feet and for my posture, but my feet have grown to have an INSANE arch and flat shoes are almost uncomfortable to me. i definitely dance at raves and i wear my heels to clubs too, and ask anyone who has gone clubbing with me...i dance from beginning right through to the end. i can SPRINT in my heels damnit! lol.

i cant even walk in heels.. i actually dished out my own money and bought a pair of heels for an event last summer and when i was done i left from the backdoor and threw my heels into the huge garbage can..slipped on the flipflops and life was good again.

i dont know about some others but alot of people i know who well high heels to raves is because they went clubbing and after their hammered they decide lets go to the rave so they come down with no options. as for the rest god knows. im not a girl but if i had a choice it would obviously be runners

I'm a girl and I go to raves and I don't dance and it appeals to me because of the music. I think dancing is a bit over rated.

if anything, dancing is UNDERRATED! dancing is such an incredible form of expression...so many different kinds of dance and it's a universal symbol of celebration. i wish MORE people in this world really learn to just go out there and shake their bootys and let go! :P
